Hello loyal Trail Mix fans - it’s been forever!
Bringing back a short trail mix that’s been in my drafts for a long while. (And by long while I mean I started it in September.)
I’m currently on a flight to London for a month-long bender of a work trip (London→Munich→Austria→London→China→Hong Kong→Vietnam→Korea. And then I’m getting married like 2 weeks later! (Help)

My job (it’s been fun lately!)
Stopping midway on my runs on JFK and walking home (this was from before October when I was still home and running frequently. rip.)
Prank calling (this was from October, I’m less obsessed but was re-obsessed at the time thanks to Shannon)
Solidcore (as of last month after I attended my first class in Denver) 10/10 enjoyed, could see myself getting addicted if I had time for all that
Henry Rose char

Lighting candlesticks at night (ever since I was in Amsterdam in December and could peek into everyone’s cozy living rooms all lit by candlelight)
The person on r/sharktank who said that Kelly and I have no flair or character <3
Comparing my run for AEPhi president in 2017 to Joe Biden’s presidential run in 2020 (would’ve rather been president than let anyone else do it)

How Med Spas Conquered America by none other than my fave Amanda Mull for Bloomberg (RIP her time at The Atlantic).
This excerpt from Annie Kreighbaum’s newsletter “All Of My Opinions Are Your Own” about the process for naming Glossier’s iconic Cloud Paint product:
“Identifying the “gestures” used when living with and applying the product was something I always baked into the messaging and education as it was being brought to life internally. For Cloud Paint, it was about dabbing it on with your ring finger for a light touch. In explaining how it would be applied, I felt like Bob Ross describing how to dab on “happy little clouds,” which felt casual and unintimidating for someone unfamiliar with a blush in tube form—and “Cloud Paint” became the obvious name since it was directly synonymous with the intended application. It was even a nice tie-in to our favorite photo-op from the balconies at the office: fluffy pink, orange, and purple clouds at sunset.”
I’m not on Twitter as much these days due to What’s Going On… but I have a few good things saved. This is the first one (you have to copy/paste into your browser because Elon ruins everything) https://x.com/deadbeatregular/status/1883597687259545620?s=46&mx=2
And this one (from January)
The NY Mag story about people whose parents fund their lives. Read a lot of discourse on this piece (a lot of people seemed to think it was obvious and therefore not groundbreaking to cover) but I found it fascinating!
I had one of the best meals of my life at TâmTâm in Miami in December, so had to throw it in here as a recommendation.
